PEDS-R® can be used for research purposes
We support the use of PEDS-R® in research and aim to minimise costs. We
offer preferential rates for researchers from research institutes or
not-for-profit organisations. Our preferential rates include:
- A one-off fee of $250 (including GST)
- Access to the PEDS-R® team to discuss the research study if required
- Assistance with implementing the PEDS-R® into the research study
- A small fee per participant per assessment
- Discounted training options
We offer several licencing options for PEDS-R® in research, which will
incur different fees:
- Print-only access
- Fillable PDF access
- Electronic adaptation of PEDS-R® into your research materials
A PEDS-R® in Research Sub-Licence Agreement is required before
using PEDS-R® in research. PEDS-R® in Research Sub-Licence Agreements
are separate to other PEDS-R® Sub-Licences that organisations hold.
For PEDS-R® to provide useful data
- There are very strict directions for use of
the PEDS-R®.
- The same directions need to be followed
whether in practice or research.
- Can only be used in research if the
researcher is trained in the use of the PEDS-R®.

PEDS® in research
PEDS® (the version of PEDS® prior to

to screen children’s development, either as a means of determining eligibility
for a particular study or as an outcome measure.
